Happy Thursday!

Today the boys worked on finishing their animal patterns. They're working hard to make sure they do their best job by trying to stay in the lines, and covering all of the white space. When I went to Teacher's Convention last week I stopped by one of the vendors who was giving away free skipping ropes. Your son will be bringing one home today, and it is his to keep.

Here's what the boys had to say about the day:

How did we grow today?
·      In math, we worked on our pattern animals.
·      I played in the water table today.
·      We did skipping in gym today. We also got a skipping rope to take home.
·      I finished my animal pattern today.
·      We did group skipping in gym today.
·      I made a rhino using a stencil.
·      At colouring center, I made animals with the stencils.
·      Today I made a walkie talkie out of melty beads, I also made a lion at colouring center.
·      At melty beads, I started to make a Pokeball.
·      I made a fox using the stencils.  


Remiders:

  • Some of the boys will be bring home new library books today. 
  • Next week’s letter of the week is V.

Happy Sunday! I just turned on my computer today and noticed I forgot to post on Thursday. The letter of the week next week is F, please feel free to send any items that start with the letter F to share during morning meeting. Here's what the boys had to say abut Thursday: How did we grow today? ·     In gym, we played a game called knock it off. ·     We did calendar this morning during morning meeting. ·     We made different coloured patterns today. ·     During centers, we did melty beads. ·     In centers, I built a zoo. ·     I played in the sand table and made a zoo. ·     I made bracelets during centers. Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend. Today we learned about the letter U. We learned what sound it makes and some words that begin with that letter. Ask your son if he can name something that starts with the letter U. Here's what the boys had to say about the day: How did we grow today? ·      I drew a lion, and a fish and I played in the water table. ·      When we were in gym we played Mission Impossible and we have two days left. ·      We practiced writing the letter U, and we talked about what words start with the letter U. ·      I coloured during centers. ·      I drew a UFO on a white board during snack time. ·      I made an aquarium in the water table during centers. ·      I built a zoo with a friend during centers. ·      We did Go Noodle and leveled our guy up. ·      We practiced a lockdown.
