Happy Wednesday!

We had a very busy morning today. During our work period we did science. We are learning about plants and their needs. We read the book We Are The Gardeners which taught us about what plants need to grow. Each boy then drew a picture in their visual journal showing 3 of the needs of plants: water, soil and sun. Next, each boy had the opportunity to plant a flower. We will be observing and documenting the growth of our plants in our plant journal. Ask your son if he remembers what kind flower we planted. The boys also earned enough class points to watch a movie. The boys chose to watch a Wild Kratts show.

How did we grow today?

·    We planted some flowers today and we also watched a movie.

·    We earned all of our class points and got to watch a movie and had Timbits for a special snack.

·    I planted some flowers today, they were sunflower seeds.

·    We did science today. I did some work in my journal, we drew a picture to show the needs of plants.

·    I coloured Kion today during morning bins.

·    In gym, we were playing revenge tag and we also go to do some more bowling.
