Happy Wednesday!

Today during work time the boys practiced identifying and extending different types of patterns. Ask your son if he can tell you what one type of pattern is; size, shape and colour are the ones we are working on right now. We have a classroom point system similar to the one that was used in Mrs. Palmer's class, and the boys have earned their prize. They all voted and decided they wanted to earn popcorn and a movie. If you do not want your son having popcorn, could you kindly send a movie snack for them to enjoy during our movie.

How did we grow today?

·     I made an aquarium in the water table.

·     I made a tank out of melty beads and an army helicopter, but it broke.

·     We made a Lego boat during centers.

·     We played tag games in gym, we didn’t get to climb today because Mr. Stanley was away.

·     We also played battleship in gym.

·     We made a big house out of blocks in the construction center.

·     At melty bead center, I made a Walkie talkie.

·     At the water center, I created a secret formula to bring crocodiles back to life.

·     I made a mega blast from Toothless out of melty beads.

·     During math, we had some patterns that were started for us, and we had to finish them.

Reminders: Tomorrow is library day, please return any books you may have at home. Some boys have overdue books and have a note in their bag showing the books they still have out that need to be returned.
