Hello Kindergarten families! Today the boys practiced writing the letter F. They also drew a picture of something that starts with the letter F. Ask your son what he drew, and if he can name a few things that start with the letter F. Here's what the boys had to say about today: How did we grow today? ·     We played in the water table today. ·     I did melty beads during center time. ·     In gym, we did gymnastics. ·     We had a mystery mess. ·     Tomorrow in gym  we are doing climbing. ·     We built a Lego boat during centers. ·     We made an aquarium out of blocks during center time. ·     I’m getting better at tidying up my toys, and other people’s toys. ·     We practiced writing the letter F in our printing books. Happy Tuesday Today the boys learned what kind of building project we are doing. Since St. Patrick's day is coming up we thought that it would a fun idea to build Leprechaun traps. We watched the story "How to Catch a Leprechaun" on Youtube to get some ideas. Next, we watched some videos on Youtube that showed us how to build a trap. Finally, we looked at some pictures online of some examples of traps that other people have made. The boys then had the opportunity to design their own trap by drawing what they want their trap to look like. Next week Monday, and Tuesday we will be doing the actual building of the traps in time for St. Patrick's day on Tuesday. If you have any cardboard boxes (no bigger than a shoebox), empty tissue boxes, toilet paper rolls, egg cartons, that you could send in, the boys would be so appreciative. Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend. We had a busy and exciting first day of the week including a surprise visit from some furry friends! Some volunteers from PALS were visiting the school and brought along some cute dogs for the boys to interact with. Ask your son how many different dogs they got to meet. The letter of the week this week is J. Please feel free to send any items you may have that begin with the letter J so your son can share them with their classmates.
